How pros are charged credits for bids, and when credits may come back.

When credits are charged

You are charged only when you submit a valid bid on an open job, or submit one again. If a free bid applies, no credits are charged. Editing a bid that is still active doesn't cost anything extra.

When credits may be returned

We may return your credits when:

• the job is removed as spam;
• the customer cancels the job quickly;
• the job is a duplicate caused by a platform error;
• an admin marks the job as invalid.

Our team can also refund bid credits by hand.

When credits are not returned

Credits are generally not returned when:

• you weren't picked;
• you changed your mind;
• your bid was weak;
• you didn't respond;
• you withdrew your bid after it was shown.

Abuse

We can deny a refund, or take one back, in cases of spam, fake accounts, payment disputes, bid manipulation, harassment, or attempts to get around the platform.

Payment processor fees

If credit purchases go through a payment provider, that provider's rules may affect timing, fees or reversals.
