This page lists the cookies and browser storage BidHandyman uses, and how you can control them. We keep it small: one sign-in cookie and a few items saved in your browser to make the site work. We don't use advertising cookies.

What we use

What	Name	What it does	How long
Sign-in Cookie · needed for the site to work	`PHPSESSID`	Keeps you signed in as you move between pages and keeps your forms secure.	Until you close your browser
Quote form drafts Local storage on your device	`bhLeadDraft.v1` `bhAdsDraft.v1`	Saves your answers on the quote forms, including the contact details you typed, so you don't lose them if you leave the page. It stays on your device and isn't sent to us until you send the request.	Until you send the request or clear your browser data. Drafts older than a few days are ignored.
Logo animation Session storage on your device	`bhBuild` `bhKnockOnLoad`	Remembers which little building the logo shows next, and whether to play the animation on the next page.	Until you close the tab
Celebration Session storage on your device	`bhCelebrate`	Shows a short confetti celebration once after you send a quote request.	Removed as soon as it plays

We don't use analytics cookies right now. If we add them, we will update this page.

If a job page includes a video and you play it, the video service may set its own cookies.

How to control cookies

Your browser's privacy settings let you see, block and delete cookies and site data. Look for "Cookies" or "Site data".
If you block the sign-in cookie, you won't be able to sign in, post a job or ask for quotes.
Clearing site data for BidHandyman deletes saved form drafts and resets the logo animation.
A private or incognito window deletes all of this when you close it.
